橄榄油-强健骨骼的健康食品 Olive Oil - The Foods for Strong and Healthy Bones

西班牙研究人员将 127 位年龄介于 55 至 80 岁参加试验的男性,随机分为三组,采用不同的饮食方案:地中海+特级初榨橄榄油,地中海饮食+混合坚果,以及普通低脂饮食。研究结果显示,饮食中加入橄榄油的人,血液中的骨钙素明显增加。骨钙素含量高代表骨强韧度好,不容易患上骨骼疏松症。

A research study published in The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism (JCEM) shows that olive oil may help strengthen bones.

A team of Spanish researchers examined 127 men between the ages of 55-80. The men involved are classified randomly into three groups and are assigned to different diets over a period of two years. The diets include: a Mediterranean diet with virgin olive oil, a Mediterranean diet with mixed nuts, and a regular low-fat diet. The results show that those who consumed a Mediterranean diet with virgin olive oil experienced a significant increase in the levels of osteocalcin in their blood. Osteocalcin is a marker of strong and healthy bones.
